Home Security & Privacy
Ensure security systems are operational
Confirm all windows and doors are closed and locked
Confirm all curtains and blinds are closed (per owner’s request)
Water Damage Protection
Flush all toilets and run water in sinks
Inspect for visible signs of water leaks around doors, windows, walls and ceilings
Inspect for visible signs of leaks in bathroom plumbing and hot water heater
Inspect for visible signs of leaks in kitchen and utility room plumbing
Inspect for obvious signs of mold or mildew build-up
Ensure air conditioning is cooling properly
Keep thermostats set to optimal temperatures (per owner’s request)
Replace HVAC filters and light bulbs as needed (cost covered by me)
- Run required liquids down lines to prevent clogs & build-up
Inspect for appearance of insects or rodents
Ensure refrigerator and freezer are cooling properly
Collect leaflets, newspapers or junk mail
All other general maintenance repairs are quoted and billed on a per-project basis and discussed & approved by owner.
Confirm all interior doors, windows, shutters, furniture and coverings are secure or in place before a major storm (excluding removable storm panels)
Make special inspections following a major storm
Meet delivery and service companies to allow access to the house
- Put together desired furniture
Home Project Management
Liaison between contractor and homeowner and project coordination
Home Project Management is quoted and billed on a per-project basis and discussed & approved by owner.
